The EHD-HDMSP’s overall design methodology was determined by examining all the attributes necessary for a dynamic and robust interface. The EHD-HDMSP will withstand up to and including 8KV of voltage surge. It is active on all balanced line TMDS channels, including the clock channel. This device will defend against intruding voltage spikes that may damage HD components.
